If you answered yes then IT varsity’s career pathway opportunity into digital entrepreneurship is for you!
In the efforts of contributing towards the well-being and filling the unemployment gap in the uMhlathuze Local Municipality, we are proud to announce that IT varsity is on the hunt for 30 youth, aged 18 – 27 years to provide them with the skills and tools to become entrepreneurs in the 4th industrial revolution.
How? Should you meet the criteria you will be awarded a one-year fully funded entry into our Digital MBA program, designed to equip graduates with vital soft skills like entrepreneurship, problem-solving, identifying global opportunities and design thinking weaved into the curriculum so that every student has access to these vital skills, irrespective of your background and experience. During the program, you will also receive a stipend of R4020 a month.
The top 3 performers will then receive free business enterprise development training through a series of workshops including marketing, client relations and running your business.
As part of the program, you will receive:
- Fully-funded study towards the Digital MBA (National Certificate in Small Enterprise Development – SMME)
- Laptop
- Centre to study with internet access
- On the job practical learning experience (Build your portfolio)
- A monthly stipend
By the end of the program you would’ve built up to 14 business related apps, providing you with a solid foundation of workplace skills. These apps will also form part of the Portfolio of Evidence and will be showcased to your potential clients, but also serves as practical development projects where you can put your knowledge to action.
